DMREF:  Computational Chemistry to Accelerate Development of Long Wave Infrared Polymers

Greetings from the UArizona Plastic Optics Team!  We are an interdisciplinary group of researchers at the interface of computational chemistry, spectroscopy, synthetic chemistry, polymer science & engineering, and optical sciences.   We are excited to be a part of the NSF DMREF program for using computational chemistry, machine learning, and data-driven tools to accelerate the development of new optical polymers and plastic optics for Infrared (IR) Imaging.  We are grateful to the National Science Foundation and the Air Force Research Laboratories for their support of this project.
